C.D.I. Systems Announces the Official Release of NetIS™ version 3.7 - higher visibility with additional browsers supported

JERUSALEM---December 1, 2004--C.D.I. Systems, a developer of online publishing solutions, announced the release of the latest version of their premier online publishing platform - NetIS™ version 3.7.

NetIS™ proceeds to combine (strong) leading web content management and DRM functionality with e-commerce tools to deliver a platform that controls the access to, and the sale of, premium and sensitive content in a secure manner. Now it is even more robust with the new features, functionality sets and interfaces that have been incorporated into version 3.7.

Here are just a few examples of the enhancements that can be found in NetIS™ 3.7:

Gecko based browsers support - extending the content owner's reach while using W3C standards, by enabling the end-user to receive protected content on both Internet Explorer browsers and the constantly growing market of Gecko based browsers, Including Mozilla, Firefox and Netscape.

Affiliates limited interface - allowing integrators to expose only limited parts of the interface and flows to their clients. Thus permitting multiple web applications to run on the same NetIS™ server, allowing selective access to the administrative application information but restricting access to foreign applications and avoiding unnecessary exposure to the business information (such as user activities, transactions etc.)

Off site indexing - NetIS™ server now includes the possible setup and interaction with a separate indexing machines, thus preventing heavy repository-indexing from disrupting NetIS™ server regular distribution activities.

Volume based usage - NetIS™ now allows marketing managers wider flexibility in the creation of new products, including volume based criteria such as cumulative time-limited subscription (e.g. the right to view the report for a predefined period of time (measured in actual usage minutes), amount of content etc.)

French and German interfaces - thanks to our in-house data dictionary tool, NetIS™ now includes German and Frrench versions of the administrator interface. Further customization of the language or look and feel of the back office interface is also possible.

Concurrent Users Management - introducing a powerful mechanism, which enables the limitation, control, and monitoring of concurrent usage and consumption of content. The application developers can implement a mixture of policies in circumstances where concurrent usage levels are exceeded (allow and log each exceeding login, warn when customers login "above quota" or unconditionally deny login).

"NetIS™ is well known for its outstanding flexibility when offering the content owner with powerful tools integrated into a comprehensive platform", noted Ely Calderon, deputy CEO of C.D.I. Systems. "The additional reach, provided by the release of NetIS 3.7, answers to the trends and standards within the DRM market, without losing NetIS unique granular proposition to the content owner - robust DRM capabilities, commercialization of content and low deployment costs."
